kitschy & delicious wedding sweet buffets

When Crystal {Distinct Occasion's} first sent us inspiration for Rachael & Joey's vintage inspired candy land wedding, we were swooning. Rachael is a lover of vintage furniture, kitsch and whimsical design. She wanted her dessert buffets to be a spectacular surprise for her guests, and that they were. We snuck into the foyer while guests were enjoying the reception and staged 3 epic dessert tables.

Everything was baked by us from scratch with love, using grandmas homemade pie crust for 200 delectable mini pies and pie pops, gorgeous pastel macaroons, cake truffles, donuts, and tons of other yummy goodness for their 400 guests.  We made colourful banners and dyed doilies to match the treats as a finishing touch.

My personal favorite moment from this day was the gorgeous Rachael's reaction when she saw all our hard work at her dream wedding!

The lovely day was captured by Renaissance Studios and featured in February's Special Edition Wedding Bells Magazine.

  2. You have shared useful information on these wedding sweet buffets. I am planning to arrange my sister’s wedding so I am in pursuit of exotic wedding venues Chicago. My friend suggested me few venues and I am planning to book one this week.
